On the issue of ‘can we un-learn that which we have created different languages, different expressions, different visuals
ourselves’? Because of the difficulties related to the long-haul is it not possible? And if you cannot push at a university as a
nature and suicide (CS), realistically can many universities whole in that direction can you create a spaces to transgress
afford that? Perhaps the answer is no? The university create to actually puncture the dominant approach to pedagogy
spaces for diverse conversations to emerge and make the while staying within the frame of the university because you
transgressive conversation a norm. For me that is refusing to need it? I see the possibility for that. Otherwise I think we’re
walk away from a university as a possible exciting social proj- going to continue to be a small player as a university in a
ect that works to serve a cause larger than itself. We actually bigger game in the chuganout of global rankings. Then we’ll
have sanctuaries and spaces where we actually can test if just stand still and stand in the corner because it’s far too big
certain kinds of approaching the academic project, using and I do not want to propose a university like that. (S Muthwa)
